Where we are
The Illawarra Environmental Education Centre is located approximately 20 minutes south of the Wollongong CBD. Many of the programs presented by Centre staff are run within the Killalea State Park. However, Centre staff also travel throughout the Illawarra to present programs to students and teachers. Popular locations include the subtropical rainforest of Mt Keira (only 40 minutes drive from Sydney's southern suburbs), various sites around the coastal township of Kiama and of course our In-school Programs.
